Job description

The Project Manager is responsible for leading the execution, financial performance, customer management, and operational delivery of telecommunications, low-voltage, security, OSP, and network infrastructure projects supporting hyperscale data center clients.
This role serves as a senior leader within the Vega Program, overseeing multiple concurrent projects, supporting project teams, driving customer satisfaction, and ensuring projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and in accordance with customer quality standards.
The ideal candidate is a proven leader with experience managing large-scale data center, telecommunications, structured cabling, fiber optic, security, or network infrastructure programs.
Responsibilities
  • Lead multiple concurrent projects and programs from award through closeout.
  • Own project financial performance, forecasting, budgets, labor productivity, and profitability.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, manpower plans, and resource forecasts.
  • Serve as the primary customer interface for assigned accounts and executive-level stakeholders.
  • Manage scope changes, contract compliance, risk mitigation, and issue resolution.
  • Coordinate activities between field operations, project teams, subcontractors, customers, and internal support departments.
  • Mentor Data Center Managers, PMAs, and field leadership personnel.
  • Drive accountability for schedule adherence, quality standards, turnover deliverables, and customer satisfaction.
  • Support staffing, workforce planning, and operational growth initiatives.
  • Promote a culture of safety, professionalism, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications
7+ years of project management experience within one or more of the following:
  • Data Centers
  • Telecommunications Infrastructure

  • Demonstrated experience managing large-scale projects and customer relationships.

  • Must be able to use the following trade Tools: punch tool with 110 block and 66 block blade, 6/8 position combo crimp tool, Krone/3M/BIX, butt set, volt-ohmmeter, 4-pair continuity tester and 5-gang punch tool.

  • Must possess at least a High School diploma or GED equivalency; Bachelor's Degree preferred.
  • Must have experience in customer interface, such as liaison between the customer and the Company.
  • Must be proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and MS Project).
  • Must meet Company minimum driving standards.
  • Must be able to manage multiple tasks/projects simultaneously.
  • Must have demonstrated verifiable ability to define a project, create a project scope of work, develop detailed associated tasks and manage these to final completion and customer turnover.
