A telecommunications line installer is responsible for installing telecommunication cables, often fiber optic cables, for phone, internet, or TV companies. Your duties in this career are to maintain the cable lines, test them for efficacy, and inspect the cables to confirm that the lines are functioning properly. If issues arise, you must troubleshoot the equipment to determine what is causing the problem and fix the lines.
