Job description

Position Summary

This is an ONSITE position located in Washington, D.C.

NCC is seeking a Telecommunication Lead to join a a team of professionals supporting a government agency. In this position, you will be responsible for supporting conferences, meetings, and events. The position will also be responsible for assisting customers, vendors, and administration with various tasks in the Conference Center.

Key Areas of Responsibility

  • Maintain and update the Radio Database in compliance with regulations.
  • Oversee all radio-related SLAs, ensuring timely updates, accuracy, and compliance.
  • Conduct regular data exchanges with NTIA and prepare required weekly reports.
  • Review, track, and verify all radio authorizations, licenses, and frequency assignments.
  • Maintain accurate records of all radio assets, configurations, and service changes.
  • Support audits and reporting to ensure alignment with NTIA and FCC standards.
  • Monitor and manage ServiceNow tickets related to radio operations.
  • Verify completion of Technician assignments for moves, adds, and changes (MACs).
  • Maintain accountability and data accuracy across systems and reports.
  • Assist with cancellation tracking, STAR report verification, and DSR maintenance.
  • Provide backup and coordination support for overall communications operations.

Minimum Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in broadcasting/radio and telecommunications.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust Security Clearance.
  • Associates Degree in related technical field OR the equivalent of education, technical training or work experience.
  • Strong understanding of NTIA VPN (Palo Alto, Global Protect) and Radio Program Spectrum.
  • Previous experience with MS Office 365 (Teams, SharePoint, Word, Excel, Powerpoint), Zoom, Servicenow.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Excellent organizational, verbal and written skills, with exceptional customer service abilities and the capacity to deliver high-level service to a diverse range of technical professionals.
  • Prompt, dependable, and able to work outside of core hours if required
  • Strong self-starter and can work independently

Special Position Requirements

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8 hour shift.

Environmental/Physical Demands: Required to stand, walk and sit; talk or hear, both in person and by telephone; use hands to finger, handle or feel objects or controls; reach with hands and arms.
