Job description

Leapros Skilled Trades is actively hiring Project Manager (Hyperscale) in Cedar Rapids, IA. The Project Manager (Hyperscale) provides comprehensive oversight for contracted low-voltage projects, ensuring adherence to safety, quality, and financial performance standards. The ideal candidate possesses over five years of supervisory experience in telecommunications or technical construction, with a strong background in staff management, project profitability, and client relations.

Job Type: Permanent

Annual Salary: $90,000 to $140,000 Annually BOE

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the development, implementation, and installation of contracted work while meeting safety and quality standards.
  • Recruit, hire, train, and manage project-related staff, including performance reviews and human resource management.
  • Manage workload distribution and monitor installation progress to ensure customer delivery goals are met.
  • Monitor project profitability and review job cost postings, invoicing, and financial reporting.
  • Facilitate the bid process and act as the primary liaison for customer representatives.
  • Create and implement project scopes of work and detailed task lists through to final customer turnover.
  • Develop and execute account process improvements to optimize project efficiency.
  • Supervise all quality and safety issues on customer job sites.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 6 years of experience in telecommunications or a related technical construction field.
  • At least 5 years of supervisory or managerial experience.
  • High School diploma or GED required; Bachelor's Degree preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to define project scopes and manage complex tasks to completion.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and MS Project.
  • Ability to interpret blueprints, specifications, and reporting requirements.
  • Experience in customer interface and acting as a liaison between clients and the company.
  • Ability to secure and maintain a company-sponsored credit card and meet driving standards.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to travel within branch or regional territories as required.
  • Proficient in the use of trade tools including punch tools, combo crimp tools, Krone/3M/BIX, butt sets, and volt-ohmmeters.
  • Must have the ability to read, write, and deliver oral presentations effectively.
  • Ability to interpret blueprints and complex technical project documentation.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.

Pay Transparency:

The anticipated annual salary range for this position is $90,000 to $140,000 annually, based on relevant factors such as experience, skills, education, internal equity, and geographic location. Final compensation will be determined during the interview process by the hiring authority.
