Job Summary W e are seeking a Controls Project Manager to act as the on-site project leader, responsible for planning, executing, and completing projects in a safe and cost-effective manner. This role oversees hardware design, system programming, installation coordination, commissioning, and project closeout, ensuring customer satisfaction and accurate financial results while maintaining compliance with legal and safety standards. Key Responsibilities L ead project execution including hardware design, system programming, installation coordination, commissioning, and closeout. Manage overall project financials including costs, billings, and collections. Maintain customer satisfaction while ensuring profitable and accurate project outcomes. Actively pursue and manage change orders. Coordinate communication with customers throughout all project phases. Ensure proper execution of warranty obligations. Provide work direction to subcontractors, installers, technicians, designers, and administrative staff. Ensure compliance with AHJ (Authority Having Jurisdiction), local, state, and federal requirements. Adhere to and enforce safety standards for all staff and subcontractors. Collaborate with local offices and regional teams to support controls installation, mechanical installation, service teams, security & fire, and HVAC equipment pr ojects. Required Qualifications Prov en experience managing controls or building systems projects. Strong knowledge of project financials including cost management, billing, and collections. Ability to lead cross-functional teams including subcontractors and technical staff. Excellent communication and customer relationship management skills. Familiarity with compliance requirements and safety stan dards. Preferred Qualifications Exp erience with large mechanical retrofit or performance contracting projects. Background in HVAC, security, fire, or building automation systems. Prior experience working with regional and local office structures in project d elivery. Certifications PMP or equivalent project management certification preferred. OSHA or other safety-related certifications a plus.
