Description
Team Fishel , the Best Choice Employer in the utility construction business, is looking to hire an Telecom Supervisor ( Aerial and Underground) for our San Diego , CA location . The Supervisor position will be responsible for leading field crews to meet project goals in a safe manner. This position is also responsible for supervising the day-to-day operations and job completion of assigned telecom projects, in both Aerial Telecom and Underground Telecom markets. The wage range for this position is $34.00 to $38.00 an hour depending on skills, experience, and qualifications.
Responsibilities
  • Identify and develop new customers
  • Organizing materials, equipment, and labor
  • Providing all required job reporting
  • Completing as-builts and redlines
  • Work the job to bring in under estimated cost
  • Manage change order and progress billing
  • Communicate job status with customer, be responsive to requests
  • Ensures safety practices are observed by all crews
  • Reports, coordinates and supervises all aspects of a project
  • May work independently performing site surveys for estimates, proposal preparation, or quality assurance
  • Evaluate Teammate's performance and develop a plan for increasing growth and responsibility
  • Document Teammate counseling, warning, and terminations

Requirements & Qualifications :
  • Previous utility construction leadership experience is required
  • Ability to travel
  • Must have experience in Utility construction and Network Installation
  • Experience in contract management, change orders and unit price schedules etc.
  • Ability to interpret construction drawings and create as-builds
  • Must have computer skills and experience with Microsoft office applications
  • Valid Drivers License
  • Proficient with MS WORD and Excel
