Senior Solutions Architect - Business Continuity & Resilient Infrastructure
BravoTECH, a leader in IT staffing and staff augmentation services, is seeking a Senior Solutions Architect for a contract opportunity with a premier client in Euless, Texas.
The Senior Solutions Architect will design resilient infrastructure, disaster recovery, and business continuity solutions for mission-critical environments. This is a highly client-facing consulting role requiring strong technical expertise across broadcast infrastructure, live media workflows, networking, disaster recovery, high availability, and automated failover.
The architect will lead technical discovery, identify operational risks and single points of failure, develop resilient solution architectures, and translate technical recommendations into clear implementation plans for clients and internal project teams.
Key Responsibilities
  • Lead technical discovery sessions with client stakeholders, engineers, operations teams, and business leaders.
  • Assess infrastructure, broadcast workflows, connectivity, dependencies, and operational risks.
  • Design resilient architectures supporting broadcast playout, signal redundancy, satellite, and live-stream environments.
  • Develop automated failover/failback solutions with near-zero RTO for critical services.
  • Design diverse network and telecom solutions, including WAN, carrier, internet, and site-to-site redundancy.
  • Define RTO/RPO, availability targets, recovery requirements, and data-loss tolerances.
  • Develop high-availability, disaster recovery, replication, backup, and secondary-site architectures.
  • Identify single points of failure and recommend appropriate remediation.
  • Develop DR testing strategies, recovery exercises, failover procedures, and operational documentation.
  • Create conceptual architecture diagrams, implementation roadmaps, bills of materials, and budgetary estimates.
  • Coordinate internal teams, vendors, carriers, and specialized engineering partners.
  • Present technical recommendations, risks, costs, and tradeoffs to both technical and executive audiences.
  • Clearly communicate complex technical concepts to the internal project team and client stakeholders.
Must-Have Qualifications
  • 7+ years of experience in Solutions Architecture, Infrastructure Engineering, Disaster Recovery, or Business Continuity.
  • Hands-on experience with broadcast playout and signal redundancy.
  • Strong knowledge of satellite and live-stream workflows.
  • Experience designing automated failover and near-zero RTO solutions.
  • Strong experience with diverse network and telecom architecture, including carrier and connectivity redundancy.
  • Demonstrated experience with DR planning, testing, recovery procedures, and documentation.
  • Strong knowledge of networking, compute, storage, virtualization, backup, replication, and cloud technologies.
  • Experience designing highly available on-premises, cloud, and hybrid environments.
  • Ability to identify dependencies and single points of failure across complex infrastructure.
  • Excellent client-facing discovery, consulting, presentation, and technical communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience supporting broadcast, live media, streaming, or other 24x7 mission-critical environments.
  • Experience with SD-WAN, private circuits, internet redundancy, and automated network failover.
  • Knowledge of datacenter resiliency, secondary-site readiness, power, cooling, and physical infrastructure.
  • Experience with Azure, AWS, VMware, Microsoft infrastructure, enterprise storage, backup, and replication platforms.
  • Familiarity with immutable backups, cyber recovery, cyber vaulting, and ransomware-resilient architectures.
  • Relevant cloud, networking, disaster recovery, business continuity, or security certifications.
Key Deliverables
  • Current-state infrastructure and resiliency assessment
  • Dependency and single-point-of-failure analysis
  • Broadcast and network resiliency architecture
  • Recovery, failover, and failback strategy
  • Primary/secondary site recommendations
  • DR testing and readiness plan
  • Conceptual solution architecture and diagrams
  • Implementation roadmap and project phases
  • Bill of materials and budgetary estimates
  • Technical risks, assumptions, dependencies, and tradeoff analysis
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is a hands-on, client-facing architect who understands both traditional IT infrastructure and the unique availability requirements of broadcast and live-media environments. They can move comfortably between technical engineering discussions and executive conversations while providing the project team with clear, practical explanations of their recommendations.
