TELECOM FIELD TECHNICIANย 

Department: Field Servicesย 
Reports To: Field Supervisor

Position Summaryย 

The Telecom Field Technician will be based out of our Texas market and will be responsible for providing on-site client installation, repairs, and maintenance of their equipment.โ€ฏย This position requires the individual to be prompt and reliable, have superior support skills and excellent communication. They should possess a demonstrated history of achieving high levels of client satisfaction and is motivated to provide superior service. Currently hiring 1 open position.

Responsibilitiesย 

  • Responsible for all network field activity on Vero Broadband network.โ€ฏย 
  • Install and test new customer services in residential or business locations.โ€ฏย 
  • Fiber splicingโ€ฏย 
  • Troubleshoot and resolve network outages and issues.โ€ฏย 
  • Preform job responsibilities outdoors in different weather conditions (e.g., extreme cold and/or heat, inclement weather)โ€ฏโ€ฏย 
  • Climb and work at elevations (e.g., from ladders, lift trucks) exceeding 18 feet.โ€ฏย 
  • Read and interpret Network Diagrams and/or detailed instructions.โ€ฏย 
  • Operate a company vehicle in accordance with safe driving practices.โ€ฏย 
  • Work with Engineering, Technical Support, and Service Delivery to complete installations and service calls.โ€ฏย 
  • Provide excellent customer service.โ€ฏย
