Responsibilities

Want to be at the cutting edge of Research and Development of cellular Networks and AI? Join the Malaga team that’s taking world-leading Keysight electronics products from wild ideas in proof of concept. 

As a student in Telecom, Software or AI Engineering you will be involved with the transformation of test and measurement idea into the development of proof of concept. This work is happening in the 5G & 6G research Labs facility in Malaga (Parque Tecnológico de Andalucía) where a young & dynamic team is settled.

You understand or want to learn more about 6G? You want to apply your skills in solving real 6G challenges? Then this internship is for you!

You will solve a broad range of Telecom problems in the 6G network test space. The work is of varying scope and complexity and will expose you to what engineers do on a day-to-day basis in a research lab. We have different topics ranging from executing 5G/6G tests on our partner network, running experiments to assess the performance of the network, testbeds to create datasets to be used in AI training, maintaining complex software systems instruments or cloud systems), run experimentation to assess AI efficiency…

The amounts of hours you work with us is flexible and take into account your study requirements for a period of at least 6 months.

You will be able to work either part-time (25 hours a week) or full-time.

The project you work on will be part of an existing team project where you can cooperate with experienced engineers from Spain. The work can be also combined with your Bachelor or Master thesis projects as part of your education.


Qualifications

We are looking for an enthusiast Bachelor or Master level student candidate, fluent in English (written and oral) with a passion to work on advanced test and measurement challenges.

As future Telecom, Software or AI/ML engineer you would like to apply the knowledge you have gathered in your education in real conditions. You are interested in looking into test methodologies problems.

You must be studying and have the possibility to sign an agreement with a University for this position. There is no relocation package or support for relocation as part of this position.
