About this opportunity: Within CCI, you will be part of the RCO (RAN Compute & Operability) software development team, contributing to innovative solutions that enable Ericsson's global 5G networks. You will work with a wide group of designers, specialists and researchers across the Cloud RAN development organization in solving sophisticated technical challenges and develop innovative new technologies for our world-leading RAN portfolio. We are also committed to diversity and inclusion and to being a responsible and relevant driver of positive change.

What you will do: Work on 3GPP NR and ORAN standards and protocols for advanced 5G features in Management and Control plane area of the software. Contribute to developing new features as well as the infrastructure and test cases to support automated testing of those features for new 5G software features. Work in developing/debugging software which supports developer's needs, such as web-based tools, log analysis tools, debug tools, software management tools, etc.

Write and execute unit, integration, and system-level tests Collaborate with cross-functional teams across multiple sites and product programs Participate in agile development processes (sprint planning, stand-ups, reviews) Support continuous improvement of development workflows, CI/CD pipelines, and code quality The skills you bring: You are currently a student in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or similar discipline with GPA 3.0 (out of 4) or higher Good understanding of signal processing, communication theory, SW design methodology, IP Networking is an asset Knowledge of C/C++, JAVA, Python Good understanding of the Linux/Unix environmen Some knowledge of Cloud-Native core principles, DevOps and Ecosystem a plus - microservices, K8S, Docker, Helm, CI/CD (DevOps) Excellent English communication skills Excellent problem solving and interpersonal skills and possessing a can-do attitude Good knowledge of communication theory, Netconf protocol, Yang data modeling is an asset Interest in 5G, Cloud RAN, distributed systems, or telecom software What happens once you apply.
