Job Description Business Solutions Consultant helps customer/clients solve business problems and improve their overall performance. They act as a strategic partner, working closely with sales and clients to understand their needs, analyze their current operations, and develop and implement customized solutions.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Manages the comprehensive lifecycle of all opportunity related activities, encompassing everything from initial scoping to the final release of solutions architecture and bill of materials.

  • Serve as the subject matter expert (SME) on the B2B's products and services. This includes conducting compelling and tailored product demonstrations, leading technical discussions, and answering complex questions about functionality, architecture, and security to showcase the product's value in a way that resonates with the client's needs.

  • Work with the sales team to deeply understand the prospect's both business and technical requirements, business challenges, and existing infrastructure that involves conducting discovery calls and meetings to identify pain points and opportunities where our solution can provide a competitive advantage.

  • Develop and propose solutions that address the client's specific needs. This often involves creating solution architectures, proof of concepts (PoCs), and detailed proposals that outline how the product will integrate into the client's environment and deliver measurable results.

  • Drives the development of proposals and influences RFPs, RFIs, and BIDs, demanding a keen eye for detail and the capacity to express technical ideas clearly.

  • Guide and educate the sales team on the technical aspects of the product, new features, and how to effectively position the solution against competitors. This ensures the entire sales organization is technically competent and can handle initial client inquiries with confidence.

  • Act as a liaison between the client and the product management and engineering teams. Collect and relay valuable market feedback, customer use cases, and feature requests to help inform B2B's product roadmap and strategy.

  • Building presentations, business models, and reports that clearly communicate findings and recommendations to the management and the client.

  • Identifying new business opportunities with the client through discovery workshops, business conversations and other marketing led events or activities.

REQUIREMENTS:

Work Experience

Network architecture requires a deep history of hands-on troubleshooting.

  • Total Networking Experience: 7 years in IT networking and infrastructure environments.
  • Core Engineering Foundation: 4+ years as a Senior Network Engineer, Network Administrator, or Systems Engineer managing complex, multi-site network environments.
  • Architectural & Design Experience: 3+ years specifically focused on designing, scaling, and deploying corporate Wide Area Networks (WAN), Local Area Networks (LAN)
  • Scale Proof: Proven experience designing high-availability networks for organizations with large footprints (e.g., thousands of users, multi-region offices, or massive cloud workloads).


Technical Skills & Knowledge Domains
Requires exhaustive knowledge of both legacy hardware and modern software-defined networking topologies.

  • Knowledge of routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP) and switching technologies (VLANs, STP, VxLAN).
  • Comprehensive understanding of network topologies, the OSI model, TCP/IP sequencing, and IPAM (IP Address Management) IPv4/IPv6 planning.
  • Deep knowledge of WAN technologies, specifically SD-WAN (Software-Defined WAN) and MPLS architectures.

Educational Background
A strong foundation in engineering for dealing with complex network protocols and infrastructure design.

  • Bachelor's degree in Network Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, Telecommunications, or Electrical Engineering.
  • Preferably with certifications on Global brands such as Huawei, Aruba, Cisco, TPLInk-Omada, Versa, Fortinet, etc.
