Job description

The Regional Manager is responsible for leading and directing all operational activities within an assigned region, varying within construction and or locates services. This role ensures consistent achievement of safety, quality, and financial objectives by driving performance through effective leadership, operational discipline, and strategic alignment with corporate goals. The Regional Manager serves as a key liaison between field operations, senior leadership, and clients, fostering collaboration and accountability to deliver exceptional service and sustainable growth.
Responsibilities
• Formulate and implement regional business strategies, plans and budgets for construction services to achieve key business metrics.
• Oversee operational aspects within the region for aerial, underground or locates construction to ensure timely completion of work within the budget profitability.
• Build and maintain relationships with key clients and partners in the telecom and power industries to achieve profitable growth.
• Provide guidance and coaching to the team of Operations Managers to enable proactive solutions to the business problems.
• Plan, organize and provide training and certification of the team to ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and applicable regulations in the construction business.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the region, collaborate with the leaders on business development initiatives to expand and grow the business in the region.
• Prepare and present reports, dashboards to the senior management to enable timely intervention and decisions to improve the business performance in the region.
• Coordinate with management and Team Leaders on resource allocation, scheduling, and operational priorities to maximize efficiency and service quality.
• Support ongoing training, audits, and process improvements to reinforce best practices and continuous improvement in safety and operational performance.
• Provide technical guidance and situational problem-solving support to Team Leaders and field technicians during complex activities.
Requirements
Education:
Bachelor's degree in construction management or related field preferred
Experience:
Minimum 10 years of experience in construction, including at least 3 years of managerial experience within the telecom or broadband industry.
