Position Summary

The Project Manager applies professional principles, practices, and techniques to lead project teams, control project schedule, cost, scope, risks, and quality to meet project objectives, and ensure project and data integrity is complete and accurate. This role has ultimate responsibility and accountability for assigned projects and manages all aspects of the project life cycle: Initiation, Planning, Execution, Monitoring & Control, and Closure.

What You'll Do

  • Ensure all project data is complete, accurate, and up to date across all project tools. Responsible for project and task audit to ensure data completeness and accuracy.
  • Manage assigned projects & project team, ensuring that milestones and project objectives are achieved on time, on budget, and within scope; that project roadblocks are removed, and the team members are motivated to employ the organization's project management methodology and best practice principles of collaboration, accountability, and transparency
  • Drive & govern pre-sale and post-sale processes working with stakeholders to gather and align on final outputs. Change management, communication planning, and execution.
  • Pre-sale activities include activities within the Initiation phase, including ensuring the pre-sale project tools, documents, and resources are optimal for seamless communication and quick turnarounds, supporting the brief, quote, and scoping exercises.
  • Post-sale activities include activities within the Planning phase once the SOW is signed and ensure the project plan, timeline, resources, and communication plans are activated, including the Risk Management documentation, Stakeholders Register, Lessons Learned, and supporting contracts specific to the project. Execution, Monitoring, and Controlling phase, including monitoring project profitability, resourcing, and pacing. Evaluating progress and quality, managing the issue resolution process to ensure corrective actions are taken. Closure phase, including closing off the project through document reconciliations, reporting to compare the project against its baseline objectives and goals, and performing postmortem exercises as needed.
  • Responsible for identifying and communicating risk, project logistical issues, and out-of-process scenarios; identifying solutions to meet productivity, quality, and client goals; and following escalation protocols.
  • Responsible for project health reporting and management of actioning at risk metrics according to defined process

What You Bring

  • 3-5 years of Project Management experience in the project management industry overseeing a range of projects ranging in size and complexity, including some related experience in the digital space.
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent college diploma with a major in computer science, finance, business administration, or equivalent education and experience.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office suite including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
  • Proven experience working within established project management methodologies
  • Ability to facilitate and run meetings effectively
  • Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Professional, mature, motivated, and self-directed; Advanced time management skills
  • Mental agility, possessing the ability to manage multiple priorities and execute tasks effectively in a high-pressure environment
  • Strong negotiation and conflict management skills; Objective, with the ability to influence individuals across the organization without direct authority
  • Team-orientated, collaborative, and excellent interpersonal skills
  • Strong familiarity with project management software solutions (Monday.com, HubSpot and Teams an asset)
  • Ad agency exposure, with digital environment experience, preferred.
  • Knowledge of and experience with working in agile environments.
  • Knowledge of PMI methodology; Project Management Professional (PMP) certification

The projected total compensation range for this position is starting at $80,000 to $90,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of DAC's total compensation package for employees.
