Foth is seeking a collaborative, innovative, and resultsdriven Project Manager to join our growing Solid Waste team. If you thrive on leading impactful projects, enjoy turning complex challenges into successful outcomes, and are eager to grow your career while making a meaningful difference for the clients and communities we serve, we'd love to meet you! This role offers the opportunity to partner with talented professionals, guide strategic initiatives, and play a key role in delivering highvalue solutions across a variety of projects.
 
Ideal candidates will have the flexibility to work from our Jacksonville office or from your home in the Pensacola or Jupiter regions, while candidates throughout Florida may also choose a fully remote arrangement.
Projects You'll Support:
  • Permitting, design and construction for solid waste facilities including landfills, transfer stations, and material recovery facilities 
  • Environmental compliance, investigation and data management / analysis
  • Feasibility studies, technical evaluation, operational enhancements for solid waste facilities
  • Solid waste management planning, sustainability, waste minimization, and beneficial reuse
Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the full project lifecycle for solid waste initiatives-including scope development, cost estimation, planning, design, permitting, bidding, construction, and closeout
  • Ensure all aspects of the projects meet client expectations, adhering to the agreed scope, budget, and schedule
  • Resolve complex technical, financial, scheduling, and regulatory challenges through effective negotiation and solution-finding
  • Utilize Foth's project management methodologies to optimize project schedule, resources, and financial performance
  • Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies and contingency plans
  • Identify and capitalize on opportunities to expand client relationships
  • Uphold strict safety standards and procedures
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering, Geology, Environmental Science or closely related technical field
  • A minimum of 10 years of consulting experience in solid waste projects
  • At least 5 years of project management experience 
  • Prior experience working on solid waste projects, particularly for public clients
  • History of managing complex projects with multiple stakeholders
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in proposal development and cost estimation for civil construction projects
  • Experience in regulatory negotiations and issue resolution
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
