Job description

Position Title: Site Manager

Location: Fort Knox, KY

Clearance Type: SECRET

Compensation: $95K-$100K

Responsibilities (including but not limited to):

  • Oversee the project, ensure the project is on track, and review all process modification decisions.
  • Attend weekly/monthly status meetings, prepare and submit monthly financial reports, reconcile and approve input for monthly firm fixed-price invoices to the Government.
  • Work contractor personnel staffing and security issues including facilitating clearances.
  • Provide on-site technical guidance to corresponding government personnel.
  • Develop project plans pertaining to short term and/or temporary initiatives.
  • Provide management status reports to the NEC Director.
  • Review all new process enhancements and/or modifications, and provide implementation updates to the KO and the COR.
  • Develop a quality control plan (QCP) and implement a quality control program to satisfy contract requirements.
  • Provide project coordination and management to assist the NEC and its customers in the implementation and maintenance of the enterprise system components and other products that fall under the umbrella of Enterprise Systems Management.
  • Produce system configuration documents and adhere to the quality control processes for all documentation developed and maintained.
  • Document actions and status of assigned tasks in accordance with established procedures to include the management of assets.
  • Provide technical and analytical guidance to the team. Recommend and take action to direct the analysis and solutions of problems.
  • Ensure adherence to quality standards and review project deliverables.
  • Formulate and review plans and deliverable items.
  • Ensure staff remains compliant with contract terms to include proper security clearance, IA training, etc.
  • Report imminent system failures and safety hazards to the COR, provides recommended solutions, and submits written reports as required.
  • Provide technical and operational recommendations to the COR that may improve the performance of the systems or enhance services provided to subscribers.
  • Assign daily tasking to all technicians and operators based on workload received from ticketing system and ensure all work is completed within required time; responsible for quality and timeliness.
  • Assist with personnel recruitment to facilitate technical and administrative training.
  • Ensure required parts, supplies, and materials are properly ordered, maintained/tracked, and issued; all items used to complete work are documented in TMS.
  • Ensure work orders, scheduled maintenance, inspections, special projects, cable locates, and other services are consistently complete on-time. If additional time is needed, coordination will be made with the COR.
  • Develop/present cost proposals for special projects.
  • Plan, schedule, manage, and monitor all technical and administrative requirements.
  • Monitors all equipment and vehicles and ensures proper maintenance and calibration is completed as needed.
  • Ensure site telephone plant drawings are properly updated and maintained and that cable records are properly updated and maintained.
  • Coordinate, at least weekly, with lead technicians regarding status of open, pending, and upcoming trouble tickets and work orders to ensure critical tasks are properly addressed.

Education and Certifications:

  • High school diploma required
  • Valid Driver’s License
  • OSHA 30 Hour Course
  • Confined Space Entry

Knowledge and Experience:

  • Experience managing ITS/ATS contract performance in DoD operating environments.
  • In-depth knowledge of the most recent version of Microsoft Operating System, Microsoft Office applications (e.g. Win10, Microsoft Office Suite 2013), and other common desktop applications such as Adobe Acrobat, ServiceNow, etc.
  • Excellent customer service skills; project a positive image and professional manner at all times; ability to work within the confines of a set time schedule.
  • Knowledge and experience communicating Change and Configuration Management concepts to technical and non-technical personnel.
  • Knowledge and experience implementing quality assurance processes for all projects to ensure equipment, systems, and software identified by the technical design specifications are properly configured and operated after deployment.
  • Administrative and technical capability with network engineering, integration engineering, network installation and testing methodologies, and performance scheduling.
  • Knowledge of Telephone Infrastructure.
  • Ability to read and interpret telecom drawings and schematics.
  • Willingness to work outdoors in various conditions and perform physical tasks.
