Pay: $80,000 - $114,000.
Functional Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain effective systems to achieve goals and objectives.
  • Maintain records to demonstrate compliance with regulatory and industry requirements.
  • Evaluate process capability, sampling plans and adjust as needed.
  • Communicate quality performance metrics.
  • Lead / support associates to effectively perform required testing and reporting of quality data.
  • Evaluate trends using statistical analysis and collaborate with other departments in the development of corrective actions.
  • Investigate, evaluate, and report returned product from customers. Collaborate to identify corrective actions. Interact with customer visits (offsite or onsite) as needed.
  • Lead plant efforts to maintain quality requirements and certification.
  • Identify and lead continuous improvement projects.
  • Perform related duties as directed by the Quality Manager.
  • Develop / qualify (MSA) inspection, measuring and test equipment as needed.
  • Interact with suppliers as needed for audits, certifications and purchased material concerns.
  • Lead various activities to support new processes and business.
  • Serve as internal auditor for the NA MS.
  • Support various interactions with customers (audits, Third Party Inspections, Preproduction reviews, etc.)

Desired Background:
  • BS degree minimum, preferably in an engineering or technical field.
  • Min of 3 years of engineering experience in a manufacturing environment (quality preferred).
  • Proven ability to work in a team setting and a strong floor presence.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Programs
  • Lean/Six Sigma Education is a plus
  • Quality systems auditing is a plus
  • ASQ Certification in Quality Engineering is a plus
  • Experience with wire and cable, metallurgy of steel tubing is a plus.
