Product Manager
This role is focused on near-term execution: backlog ownership, prioritization, stakeholder alignment, delivery readiness, implementation support, and stabilization of in-flight project and expense work.  The ideal candidate can quickly step into work already in progress, make clear product decisions, partner effectively with engineering and business teams, and help move priority work from refinement through delivery.
  • Execution-oriented Product Manager who is comfortable joining a project mid-stream and creating clarity quickly.
  • Strong product judgment with the ability to prioritize based on business value, operational need, delivery timelines, and dependencies.
  • Confident facilitator who can align stakeholders, resolve ambiguity, and keep work moving without over-indexing on long-term roadmap strategy.
  • Comfortable using AI-enabled tools to accelerate product delivery artifacts while maintaining quality, context, and governance.
Key Responsibilities
  • Own and maintain delivery-ready backlogs for assigned initiatives, enhancements, and expense project work.
  • Prioritize work with stakeholders based on business value, operational impact, delivery timing, and project objectives.
  • Partner with engineering teams to refine user stories, acceptance criteria, dependencies, and delivery expectations.
  • Lead backlog refinement, sprint planning inputs, product readiness, release planning, and implementation support.
  • Make timely product decisions, manage scope tradeoffs, and escalate risks or blockers as needed.
  • Support testing, user validation, deployment readiness, stakeholder communications, and post-launch stabilization.
  • Use AI tools where appropriate to improve story quality, documentation, meeting follow-up, testing support, and delivery efficiency.
Preferred Experience
  • 5+ years of Product Management experience supporting enterprise technology or operational business systems.
  • Proven experience managing Agile backlogs and working directly with software engineering teams.
  • Experience delivering project-based work, operational improvements, integrations, workflow capabilities, or platform enhancements.
  • Familiarity with workforce management, HR, labor, scheduling, shipboard operations, or related enterprise processes.
  • Experience using AI-enabled tools such as Microsoft Copilot, Claude, Cursor, ChatGPT, or similar platforms to support backlog refinement, user story creation, acceptance criteria, documentation, testing support, and stakeholder communications.
  • Familiarity with Azure DevOps, Jira, Flowable, or similar delivery and workflow tools.
Measures of Success
  • Backlogs remain clear, prioritized, and ready for engineering execution.
  • Product decisions are made quickly and aligned to delivery objectives.
  • Stakeholders understand scope, priorities, risks, and implementation readiness.
  • Project and expense work progresses through development, testing, deployment, and stabilization with reduced ambiguity.
