DOD Telecom/ESS Superintendent


Pay: $35.00 - $62.00 per hour DOE (10-99 and FTE Available)


Job Overview:


We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented DoD Telecom/ESS Superintend to lead telecommunications infrastructure projects supporting Department of Defense (DoD) operations. This role offers an exciting opportunity to oversee the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of complex telecommunication systems in a dynamic environment. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in fiber splicing, cabling, and network infrastructure, combined with hands-on experience operating heavy equipment and tools. As a key leader on our team, you will ensure that all telecommunications systems meet strict security standards and operational requirements, enabling mission success with precision and efficiency.

Information of Base Infrastructure Modernization (BIM) is needed. This contract will provide for the furnishing, upgrading, designing, testing, installation, and maintenance of all Non-classified Internet Protocol Router Network (NIPR) and Secret Internet Protocol Router Network (SIPR) Base Area Network (BAN) wired and wireless components.

Fusion ES is hiring for a Telecom/ESS Superintendent for travel throughout the US.

Duration:12 months

Location: CONUS various locations
Travel Perks:Paid lodging and travel


Responsibilities:

  • Install and terminatefiber optic, coaxial, and copper cabling
  • SupportWiFi and voice system deployments
  • Performsite surveys, testing, and troubleshooting
  • Read and execute installation plans and diagrams
  • Track inventory and complete project documentation
  • Assist with or lead installation teams
  • Load/unload materials and maintain job site organization

Requirements

  • 6+ years of cable installation or telecom experience
  • Experience with fiber, coax, and structured cabling
  • Ability to lift 60 lbs and work on ladders
  • Willingness to travel and work flexible hours
  • Basic skills in Excel and Word
  • BICSI Installer, or comparable recognized certification, or manufacturer cable/connectivity certification and OSHA 30 (Required)
