Position Summary: Account Manager

Location: Nashua NH

Amphenol's High Speed IO Cable Group, a Business Unit within Amphenol Corporation, is the market leader in high speed, high bandwidth electrical and optical cables for the Telecom/Datacom market (AI/ML, Storage, Servers, Routers, Switches, Mobile Products, etc). Our products help enable the electronics revolution and remain a key enabler for all the major Tier 1 OEMs globally. Our global headquarters are located in Nashua, NH and we have design, sales, and manufacturing locations globally. We are currently seeking an Account Manager to join our Nashua NH team.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

The Account Manager is the voice of the customer into the organization as well as the voice of Amphenol out to the customer. Reporting to Product Management, this highly visible role will have responsibility for large OEM customers within the High-Speed Products Group. The position requires excellent communication skills but also has a substantial focus on demand management.

  • Preparing monthly and quarterly revenue projections for the account(s)
  • Forecast analysis and preparing book-to-ship estimates
  • Analyze demand profile with customers and operations to balance load within manufacturing sites.
  • Manage FG inventory management and risk management (hubs).
  • Liaison between operations and front end to ensure high customer satisfaction.

The successful candidate will be skilled at working at a high level of detail and will be able to manage multiple tasks for customers in a time sensitive environment. You will also make presentations to top management; organizational skills and summarizing conclusions via data analysis is an important part of the position. To do so requires a good, working knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint and the ability to communicate effectively. Some travel may be required.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • BS Degree in Marketing, Business, or related area
  • Advanced PC Skills in MS Excel and PowerPoint. Working ability with V-lookups, Pivot Tables, and other more advanced excel skills
  • 3+ years of experience in Marketing, Customer Service, Planning (materials), or Finance

SKILLS:

  • Ability to effectively communicate across multiple functions internally and externally
  • Strong oral and written communications to provide high level customer service and build relationships
  • Detail-oriented with keen business acumen
