Job description

Lightyear's platform helps enterprise IT teams automate telecom procurement, network inventory management, telecom bill payment, and much more, and is utilized by companies including Honeywell, Alo Yoga, Palo Alto Networks, and Louis Vuitton. Lightyear has raised nearly $65M from the first investors in Roblox, Discord, Coupang, Robinhood, and Flexport.
The Position: As the Onboarding Operations Specialist, you will play a critical role in delivering an exceptional customer experience from day one. You will own customer onboarding and implementation for our SaaS product, Network Inventory, ensuring customers' complete telecom network is successfully onboarded onto the platform while creating opportunities to expand adoption across the broader Lightyear platform.
In this role, you will report to the Strategy & Operations Associate leading Network Inventory and partner closely with our Sales and Product teams to continuously improve the onboarding experience and customer journey. You'll have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact, shape processes, and influence how we engage and support customers as we scale.
This is a fully remote position. Compensation is based on a candidate's experience and qualifications. The base salary range is $85,000-$110,000, in addition to a 5% annual bonus and an equity package.
Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee and project manage the network inventory onboarding process
  • Lead biweekly calls with customers and manage customer communications
  • Day to day management of offshore onboarding team (3 individuals)
  • Design, implement and improve scalable workflows and processes including tooling, automation and AI Agents.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Operations, Engineering and Product to ensure a seamless customer experience and identify gaps in existing processes and systems

Ideal Qualifications
  • 1-2+ years experience of startup operations, tech or consulting
  • Demonstrated excellent project management skills, can critically analyze existing processes and identify opportunities for process improvement
  • High degree of comfort with Excel, including ability to manage and manipulate large data sets
  • Demonstrated high EQ, as this role is very customer facing and also requires managing a team day-to-day
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented, ability to prioritize
  • Strong team player who can also work and execute independently
