Description
Team Fishel, the Best Choice Employer in the utility construction business, is hiring Aerial (Overhead) Telecom Linemen for our Louisville , KY office. The purpose of an A erial (Overhead) Telecom Lineman at Team Fishel is to assist the Project Foreman in completing the project safely, on-time, and within the customer's specifications for quality, and other work as needed.
Responsibilities
  • Planning and Initiating Projects
  • Establishing OSHA and Customer Safety Requirements
  • Setting of Towers and Poles
  • Maintaining and Repairing Overhead Distribution or Transmission Lines
  • Stringing New Wire or Maintaining Old Wire
  • Installing and Maintaining Insulators
  • Installing and Maintaining Transformers and Other Equipment
  • Installing, and Maintaining any Underground Distribution Systems
  • Set up service for customers, installing, connecting, testing, or adjusting equipment
  • Tree Trimming

Lineman Requirements & Qualifications
  • Must have 2+ years experience in the industry.
  • Experience with commercial deliveries and transport in the Louisville area.
  • Basic tools required could be climbing tools (Belt and Gaffs), basic hand tools, etc.
  • Valid CDL-A is strongly desired

Bilingual English/Spanish experience is a plus
Team Fishel will provide on-the-job training in all areas of safety, including flagging certification, tool operation and maintenance.
Starting pay $23 - $27 / hour depending on experience
