Job description

Position Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Carrier Manager to develop, manage, and strengthen relationships with mobile network operators (MNOs), mobile virtual network operators (MVNOs), and connectivity partners. The Carrier Manager will play a critical role in ensuring competitive connectivity solutions, negotiating commercial agreements, and supporting the growth of Teltonika's IoT connectivity business globally.

Teltonika’s networking solutions business unit develops and manufactures industrial and enterprise connectivity equipment, primarily routers, switches, gateways, and modems. Our networking devices serve clients in the most complex areas of Industry 4.0, Smart City, and Green Energy


In this role, you will:

  • Develop and maintain strategic relationships with telecom carriers, MNOs, MVNOs, and roaming partners.
  • Identify and onboard new carrier partners to expand connectivity coverage and improve service quality.
  • Negotiate commercial agreements, pricing structures, roaming arrangements, and service-level agreements (SLAs).
  • Monitor carrier performance, network quality, and commercial effectiveness to ensure business objectives are met.
  • Collaborate with Product Management, Sales, Technical Support, and Operations teams to deliver connectivity solutions aligned with customer needs.
  • Analyze market trends, regulatory developments, and emerging technologies within the telecommunications and IoT connectivity sectors.
  • Drive cost optimization initiatives and identify opportunities to improve margins and operational efficiency.
  • Manage contract renewals, compliance requirements, and partner performance reviews.
  • Support global connectivity projects and provide carrier-related expertise during customer engagements.
  • Prepare business cases, reports, forecasts, and executive presentations related to carrier partnerships and connectivity services.
  • Connect local carrier teams with VARs and PGVs to create sales opportunities.
  • Organize co-branded events with carrier partners to increase market engagement.
  • Conduct Lunch & Learns for VARs to provide product and sales training.
  • Execute joint go-to-market initiatives with carrier and channel partners.
  • Serve as the primary contact between carrier partners and internal teams.
  • Track and report on partner activities, events, and business outcomes.
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with carrier and channel stakeholders.


What we expect from you:

  • Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications, Business Administration, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 3–7+ years of experience in carrier management, telecommunications, IoT connectivity, or business development.
  • Strong understanding of mobile networks, cellular technologies (2G, 3G, 4G LTE, 5G), roaming, and IoT connectivity ecosystems.
  • Experience negotiating commercial agreements and managing strategic partnerships.
  • Excellent communication, relationship management, and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced international environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM/business management tools.
  • Fluent English communication skills; additional languages are considered an advantage.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working with global IoT SIM providers, connectivity platforms, or Networking solutions.
  • Knowledge of eSIM, remote SIM provisioning, and connectivity management platforms.
  • Familiarity with telecommunications regulations and compliance requirements across multiple regions.
  • Existing network of carrier contacts within the telecommunications industry.
