Account Manager
Access One is a business technology services and telecommunications provider founded in 1993. We deliver seamless, scalable solutions that evolve alongside our clientsโ€™ businesses. Our custom-tailored offerings can be deployed modularly or as a complete end-to-end solution, covering business phones, unified communications, managed IT services, cybersecurity, security systems, and cloud-based technologies.
Position Overview
The Account Manager is responsible for owning and growing a defined book of business by delivering exceptional client experience, driving contract renewals, and identifying expansion opportunities. This role manages approximately 100 client accounts totaling ~$4M in annual recurring revenue (ARR).
Key Responsibilities
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships while serving as a trusted advisor and advocate
  • Execute contract renewals with a target of less than 5% revenue write-down on base renewals
  • Target 15% annual growth across assigned book of business through up/cross-selling
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for pricing, service changes, and issue resolution
  • Conduct quarterly client-facing business reviews (QBRs)
  • Coordinate with internal teams to ensure a best-in-class client experience
  • Perform client site visits as needed
  • Stay informed on product offerings and recommend solutions aligned to client needs
Book of Business
  • Approximately 100 accounts across multiple industries
  • Approximately $4M in total ARR
Compensation
  • Base Salary: $80,000 โ€“ $100,000 (commensurate with experience)
  • Unlimited commission structure: ~1% of Total Contract Value (TCV) for renewals and ~4% of TCV for new/cross-sell opportunities
  • Commissions are paid on Total Contract Value at the time of first billing, allowing for accelerated earnings
Qualifications
  • 2โ€“4 years of experience in account management, client success, or relationship management
  • Experience in a quota-bearing role with demonstrated success meeting or exceeding revenue targets
  • Experience at a Managed IT Services Provider (MSP) strongly preferred
  • Ability to manage both business and technical conversations with clients
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities
  • Ability to manage a high-volume book of business in a fast-paced environment
  • Bachelorโ€™s degree preferred or equivalent experience
