Key Responsibilities

As a Remote Licensed Mental Health Therapist, you will:

• Conduct individual counseling sessions using secure video conferencing or text messaging, ensuring an empathetic, judgment-free space for clients.
• Encourage open dialogue, allowing clients to express their emotions and share personal experiences that impact their mental well-being.
• Assist clients in setting and tracking their therapeutic goals, assessing progress and adjusting strategies as necessary to enhance effectiveness.
• Identify behaviors and patterns that may hinder recovery, developing proactive strategies to address such challenges.
• Guide clients in adopting healthy coping mechanisms suitable to their unique circumstances and needs.
• Monitor client progress throughout treatment plans, maintaining accurate records and using data to inform ongoing therapeutic decisions.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will predominantly work with a diverse client base of stable adults seeking to overcome various emotional and psychological hurdles. The platform's vetting process ensures that clients are pre-screened for suitability, allowing for a focused practice on individuals with manageable acuity levels, creating a conducive space for recovery.

Qualifications

To be eligible for this position, candidates must have:

• A Master’s degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology.
• A full, unrestricted license to practice independently as one of the following: Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, demonstrating an empathetic approach to therapy.
• Proficiency with technology, enabling efficient client management and session delivery.

Preferred Experience

While we welcome applications from newly licensed professionals, the ideal candidates will have prior experience in providing therapy through telehealth platforms. Previous exposure to client management software and experience in working with diverse populations is advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits

This rewarding position offers a competitive salary range of $115,000 to $130,000 annually, commensurate with the number of hours worked. Additionally, full-time counselors will receive a monthly healthcare stipend and compensation is disbursed via weekly direct deposit, ensuring timely payments.
