Job Description I have a client located in Houston, TX with an immediate hiring need for a Designer or Detailer. If you, or anyone you know if qualified as well as interested in the position listed below, please click "Apply". The Detailer will be responsible for using Metal Building Software (MBS) to draft and detail construction drawings of pre-engineered metal buildings. The Detailer is also responsible for combining detailing experience and the latest technology to deliver high quality drawings to valued clients with specialized building requirements. This is a Direct Hire opportunity that is a long-term need for our client. Remote Flexibility for the Right Candidate . Qualifications:
  • Minimum, 5 years of experience detailing and checking drawings within the metal building industry required.
  • Familiarity with Metal Building Software outputs.
  • Experience using Tekla and AutoCAD.
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Daily-duties & Responsibilities:
  • Model MBS designs in Tekla and AutoCAD to ensure the accuracy and quality of our drawings and details.
  • Report to the Detailing Manager
  • Convert models to 2D drawings
  • Adhere to Company's standard details and ensure compliance with industry standards and project specifications.
