TEEN PROGRAMMER - Full-time (40 hours/week). Williams Library (1800 S Chester St, Little Rock, AR 72206) is seeking an enthusiastic and innovative Teen Programmer to lead and coordinate activities for teens, both in the library and out in the community. The Teen Programmer also serves as the primary promotion lead for branch programming, creating flyers, calendars, social media graphics, and other promotional materials to ensure programs are effectively promoted to the community. Responsibilities include planning, promoting, and implementing engaging, age-appropriate activities for teens. The ideal candidate should be outgoing, creative, and love working with kids of all ages. Skilled in graphic design, social media marketing, and event coordination is a plus. This job also involves introducing and suggesting books and authors that promote a love of reading, as well as assisting with day-to-day tasks performed by library staff, including a willingness to enforce rules of conduct. Must be comfortable working with the public, children, and teens, providing friendly and professional assistance to a diverse community. The schedule includes working every other Saturday. Salary starts at $16.47 per hour and includes excellent benefits, including medical, dental, vision, company-paid retirement, life insurance, paid time off, paid parental leave, and holiday pay.
