The Teen Therapy Counseling Center is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) to join our team in a full-time remote setting, specializing in delivering essential mental health services via telehealth. This position is performed entirely remotely through our telehealth platform, enabling counselors to connect with clients in a comfortable and accessible manner. Our virtual setting allows for flexibility in scheduling, ensuring that you can maintain a healthy work-life balance while still meeting the needs of your clients. Counselors will utilize our innovative electronic medical record (EMR) software to deliver efficient care while effectively managing patient records and treatment plans.

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations of clients to develop tailored treatment plans focused on their unique needs and circumstances.
• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions for individuals, families, and groups, including techniques such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and solution-focused therapy.
• Maintain detailed clinical documentation and accurate records in compliance with legal and ethical standards, ensuring confidentiality and integrity of client information.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to promote holistic care, engaging with psychologists, social workers, and healthcare providers to enhance client outcomes.
• Participate in ongoing professional development and training workshops to stay informed of the latest advancements and best practices in the mental health field.

The LPC will predominantly work with teenagers and their families who are experiencing a variety of mental health issues, including but not limited to anxiety, depression, trauma, and family dynamics. This demographic often faces unique stressors related to adolescence, such as academic pressure, social challenges, and emerging independence. Our mission is to provide a safe space for these young clients to express themselves and receive guidance from compassionate professionals.

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field.
• An active, unrestricted licensure as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in Virginia.
• A minimum of two years of counseling experience, ideally in a clinical setting focused on adolescents and families.
• Strong understanding of legal and ethical standards applicable to mental health practice.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to establish trust and rapport with a diverse clientele.
• Proficiency in using EMR software and telehealth technology for client management.

• Specialization in family therapy, couples therapy, substance abuse counseling, or trauma-informed care is highly preferred.
• Prior experience working in a telehealth environment is advantageous, particularly with a focus on adolescent mental health.
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively within a healthcare team for comprehensive client care.

The annual salary for the LPC position ranges from USD 70,000 to 90,000, commensurate with experience and caseload. Additionally, we offer comprehensive benefits including:
