About Us
Bach To Rock McKinney is a growing music education company dedicated to inspiring students of all ages through engaging, high-quality music instruction. In addition to lessons at our music school, we partner with private schools, preschools, and daycare centers to provide satellite music programs throughout the community.
We are seeking a passionate and reliable music educator to join our team. The ideal candidate is a strong violin instructor and/or a versatile multi-instrument teacher who enjoys working with children and can travel to partner school locations as needed.
Position Overview
We are looking for an enthusiastic instructor who can teach violin lessons and potentially additional instruments such as piano, guitar, ukulele, voice, drums, or other instruments.
Teaching assignments may include:
  • Private lessons at our music school
  • Small group classes
  • After-school music programs
  • Preschool and daycare music enrichment classes
  • Satellite programs at private schools and community partners
This position offers flexibility and the opportunity to build a substantial teaching schedule as enrollment grows.
Responsibilities
  • Teach engaging and effective music lessons to students of varying ages and skill levels
  • Create a positive and encouraging learning environment
  • Develop lesson plans tailored to individual student needs
  • Track student progress and communicate with parents when appropriate
  • Represent the music school professionally at all teaching locations
  • Travel to partner schools, daycares, and other satellite program locations as assigned
  • Participate in recitals, performances, and school events
QualificationsRequired
  • Proficiency in violin instruction
  • Experience teaching children
  • Reliable transportation
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Professional, punctual, and dependable
Preferred
  • Ability to teach multiple instruments
  • Music degree or equivalent training
  • Experience teaching group classes
  • Experience working in schools, preschools, or daycare settings
  • CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
  • Background check eligibility
