Job description

Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a TechOps Administrator I to support a Secure Operations Center (SOC) environment delivering 24x7x365 operational support for Azure core and Office 365 platforms. The TechOps Administrator I will play a key role in maintaining system availability, supporting deployments, and assisting in outage response and recovery efforts. This position will be onsite in Atlanta, GA and require a TS/SCI Full Scope Polygraph! Responsibilities of the TechOps Administrator I: * Monitor and report on deployment flow, ensuring operational functionality and escalating issues as needed
  • Identify volume drivers and coordinate with feature teams to drive fixes
  • Execute documented deployment scripts and operational procedures
  • Coordinate restoration actions with cross-functional teams during outages
  • Support outage restoration efforts in accordance with SLAs and established procedures
  • Document all investigative and recovery actions for audit and root cause analysis purposes
  • Identify and implement recovery actions in collaboration with engineering teams
  • Troubleshoot and debug system issues to mitigate service disruptions
  • Update standard operating procedures and technical documentation as needed
  • Support secure work area operations including hardware deployments, escorting maintenance personnel, and troubleshooting equipment issues
Qualifications of the TechOps Administrator I: * Active TS/SCI clearance with Full Scope Polygraph required
  • Bachelor's Degree in a related field or equivalent combination of IT training and hands-on experience
  • Strong customer service mindset and communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities
  • Strong troubleshooting, debugging, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work under pressure in time-sensitive outage scenarios
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Willingness to support shift work in a 24/7 operational environment
Compensation for the TechOps Administrator I: * Salary: Up to $130,000 based on experience
