Job description

Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) - Operating Room

Location: Scarborough, Maine

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: Shift: 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM

Job Description: We are seeking a skilled Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) with operating room robotics experience and trauma experience. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in ENT procedures and be able to work collaboratively in a fast-paced team environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in surgical procedures as part of the operating room team.
  • Prepare and maintain the sterile field.
  • Handle instruments and supplies during surgical procedures.
  • Ensure the operating room is properly stocked and organized.
  • Collaborate with surgeons and surgical staff for successful patient outcomes.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

  • At least 2 years of experience in a surgical setting.
  • CST certification is required.
  • Strong background in ENT, general surgery, GU/GYN, ortho trauma, and pediatrics preferred.
  • Limited call requirements from 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM.
