Certified Surgical Technologist - Orthopedic Specialty

York, Maine
Assignment Duration
This is a 13-week contract position.
Schedule
This position requires shifts of 4 - 9 hours scheduled between 6:45 am and 4:15 pm, with a call rotation.
Job Description
We are seeking an experienced certified Surgical Technologist to join our OR Team. The ideal candidate will have orthopedic experience and be prepared to support surgical operations.
Responsibilities
  • Assist with surgical procedures by preparing and maintaining the sterile field.
  • Handle surgical instruments and supplies in accordance with best practices to ensure safety and efficiency during procedures.
  • Collaborate with the surgical team to provide high-quality patient care.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and procedures in the operating room.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
  • Certification as a Surgical Technologist is required.
  • Orthopedic surgical experience is mandatory.
  • Ability to respond to on-call requirements, including returning to the facility within 45 minutes if called back.
