Travel Certified Surgical Technologist - Gynecology and Genitourinary Procedures

Assignment Duration
This is a 13-week contract position.
Schedule
Shifts are scheduled from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM, with a requirement for 1:4 weekends and one overnight call from 11 PM to 7 AM for Trauma call.
Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Travel Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) to join our team specializing in Gynecology and Genitourinary procedures at our Level One Trauma Center. The ideal candidate will demonstrate exceptional expertise as a CST, showcase excellent patient care, and possess the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-stress environment. The CST must be competent in various procedures including Robotics (Da Vinci Xi), PCNLs, Nephrectomy's, Ureteral Reimplants, Hysterectomy's, Cystectomy's, Colpocleisis, Hysteroscopy's, and Ureteroscopy's, while being comfortable with a diverse patient population from pediatrics to geriatrics.
Responsibilities
  • Assist in surgical procedures in the Operating Room.
  • Prepare and maintain sterile fields during operations.
  • Ensure all necessary equipment and instruments are available and functional.
  • Support and collaborate with the surgical team to ensure optimal patient care.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
  • Minimum of 3 years Level 1 trauma experience required.
  • Current certification as a Surgical Technologist.
  • Experience with Robotics and a variety of surgical procedures is essential.
  • Ability to work in a diverse patient population, from pediatrics to geriatrics.
