Location: St. Patrick's Academy - Providence RI
Job Type: Part Time, Hourly position
St. Patrick's Academy is seeking a skilled and mission-driven IT Director to oversee and advance the school's technology infrastructure and strategy. This leadership role partners with administration, faculty, and staff to ensure technology effectively supports teaching, learning, and daily operations.
Key Responsibilities
โ€ข Develop and execute a strategic technology plan aligned with school goals
โ€ข Oversee network infrastructure, servers, devices, and classroom technology
โ€ข Administer Microsoft 365, Azure, Google Workspace, and FACTS SIS
โ€ข Ensure cybersecurity, data privacy compliance (FERPA, COPPA), and disaster recovery readiness
โ€ข Provide technical support and professional development for faculty and staff
โ€ข Manage IT budgeting, purchasing, and vendor relationships
โ€ข Maintain and secure the school's website and digital systems
โ€ข Monitor technology usage and recommend improvements
Requirements
โ€ข Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
โ€ข 5+ years of experience in IT systems, network administration, or technology leadership
