Job description

OR Tech:
The OR Certified Surgical Technologist is a critical member of the Operating Room Team who performs a variety of technical skills in support of the surgeon during cases. The Surgical technologist is an autonomous skilled individual who is competent in a variety of specialties and scrubs in surgical/diagnostic procedure(s) under the direction of a registered professional nurse.
Graduate of Operating Room
Technician Program or its equivalent.
  1. License(s) Required:

Certification as Surgical Technician .
BCLS
  1. Experience/Skills

One (1) year experience as Operating Room Technician or demonstrated ability to perform operative case scrub experience.
Must demonstrate understanding of sterility and a knowledge of medical terminology.
