Job Summary:
West Monroe is a global business and technology consulting firm focused on creating measurable value for clients. They are seeking a Senior Manager to lead large-scale enterprise technology transformations, serving as a trusted advisor and program leader while ensuring alignment between business strategy and technology delivery.
Responsibilities:
โ€ข Serve as the program leader for large-scale enterprise technology transformations, coordinating business, technology, and change workstreams across multiple stakeholders.
โ€ข Act as a trusted advisor to executive sponsors, translating strategy into executable roadmaps and driving informed decision-making.
โ€ข Ensure programs deliver measurable business outcomes through strong governance, risk management, and value realization.
โ€ข Design, stand up, and lead Transformation Offices that integrate program governance, technology delivery, change management, enterprise architecture alignment, and benefits tracking.
โ€ข Assess client readiness and define operating models required to execute complex, technology-enabled transformations.
โ€ข Partner with client IT and architecture leaders to ensure alignment between business capabilities, application landscapes, and delivery sequencing.
โ€ข Lead and govern third-party system integrators, holding delivery partners accountable for scope, quality, timeline, and outcomes.
โ€ข Support SI selection, mobilization, and execution, acting as an independent advisor to the client throughout the lifecycle.
โ€ข Proactively manage delivery risks, dependencies, and executive escalations across vendors.
โ€ข Own delivery on engagements of moderate to high complexity, including scope, budget, profitability, team leadership, and client satisfaction.
โ€ข Partner with ES&E and technology leadership to shape firm strategy, offerings, and go-to-market approaches for technology-enabled transformation.
โ€ข Collaborate with industry leaders to tailor solutions for priority markets and clients.
โ€ข Support Directors and Partners in identifying, shaping and pitching projects to new prospects and existing clients.
โ€ข Develop SOWs, pricing models, and delivery approaches that balance client value and firm economics.
โ€ข Contribute to thought leadership through presentations, points of view, and external publications.
โ€ข Lead, mentor, and develop Managers and Consultants, modeling West Monroe values in client and internal settings.
โ€ข Serve as a Career Advisor, supporting performance management and professional growth.
โ€ข Actively participate in recruiting and talent development efforts.
Qualifications:
Required:
โ€ข Bachelorโ€™s degree or equivalent experience required.
โ€ข 8+ years of experience leading complex programs or portfolios, including enterprise technology transformations; with at least one of the following:
โ€ข 3 full lifecycle major system implementations (e.g. ERP, CRM, HCM) with project/program management roles
โ€ข 5+ years as part of a transformation office overseeing a large portfolio of initiatives and managing value realization
โ€ข Lead technology workstream for a merger or carveout in a moderate-to-high complexity transaction.
โ€ข Proven experience leading programs involving third-party system integrators, including vendor governance and executive-level issue management.
โ€ข Experience operating within or establishing Transformation Offices, PMOs, or integrated governance models.
โ€ข Working knowledge of enterprise architecture concepts, including business capabilities, application landscapes, and integration considerations.
โ€ข Strong understanding of program and portfolio governance approaches (PMI, waterfall, Agile, SAFe).
โ€ข Excellent executive communication skills, with the ability to synthesize complex topics into clear, actionable insights.
โ€ข Business development experience, including account growth, proposal development, and pricing.
โ€ข Ability to work permanently in the United States without sponsorship.
โ€ข Ability to travel up to 50%.
