As a Technology Operational Risk Vice President in Compliance, Conduct and Operational Risk Technology & Cyber, you will lead oversight of large, complex programs and AI and machine learning systems across the firm. You evaluate technology and cybersecurity practices, identify operational risk and threat exposures, and provide credible challenge to first-line risk mitigation strategies. You partner with technology, risk, and functional stakeholders to strengthen controls and reduce the likelihood of disruption, compliance issues, or security events. You help us drive resilient, responsible adoption of AI and machine learning.

Job responsibilities:

  • Oversee operational risk for the engineering organization developing platforms for AI and machine learning and data serving
  • Lead thematic analysis of existing risks and internal and external events related to AI and machine learning
  • Challenge first-line technology and cyber risk mitigation strategies and execution for AI and machine learning use cases
  • Assess operational and cyber risk of AI and machine learning use for technology and cybersecurity purposes
  • Collaborate with operational risk officers across corporate functions to align on AI and machine learning risk oversight activities
  •  

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:

  • 10 years of experience in a technology role
  • Strong background in AI and machine learning and the technology used to build AI and machine learning solutions
  • Strong understanding of technology and cyber assessment practices for technology systems
  • Strong understanding of the technology and cyber threat landscape for AI and machine learning and associated mitigations
  • Ability to collaborate with high-performing teams and individuals throughout the firm to accomplish common goals
