Job description

Overview:

TEKsystems is seeking an experienced IT Project Manager consultant to lead the implementation of large enterprise software system. This initiative will modernize the current manual process, which relies heavily on Excel, and enable greater efficiency and scalability. The project manager will help with the RFP stage and work directly with a vendor for the project.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive end-to-end implementation of enterprise software.
  • Manage vendor selection and onboarding process following the RFP stage.
  • Coordinate with internal teams, vendors, and stakeholders to deliver project milestones on time and within budget.
  • Oversee process improvement initiatives and automation strategies to replace manual workflows.
  • Develop and maintain project plans, risk assessments, and status reports for leadership.
  • Ensure compliance with state regulations

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 5–10 years of project management experience, preferably in IT or software implementation.
  • Strong background in process improvement and automation projects.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • PMP or similar certification preferred.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $60.00 - $65.00/hr.
