Summary/Objective
This role provides project coordination, project portfolio administration, and executive support to the Chief Information Officer. The IT Project Coordinator maintains project plans, dashboards, governance activities, budgets, risks, issues, and executive reporting while coordinating administrative activities for the CIO and IT Leadership Team.
Essential Functions
  • Maintains IT project portfolio and project schedules.
  • Tracks milestones, budgets, risks, issues and action items.
  • Prepares executive dashboards and presentations.
  • Coordinates project governance and steering committee meetings.
  • Maintains project documentation and templates.
  • Coordinates vendor onboarding and purchasing activities.
  • Supports annual budgeting and portfolio reporting.
  • Manages CIO calendar, meeting logistics and executive correspondence.
  • Prepares agendas, minutes and follow-up actions.
  • Tracks departmental KPIs and operational metrics.
  • Coordinates onboarding for IT staff.
  • Provides administrative support for the CIO and leadership team.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Required Education, Experience, Certifications and Licensure

  • CAPM or PMP certification preferred.

Additional Eligibility Qualifications
  • Ability to read, write and speak English fluently. Bilingual is a plus.

  • Knowledge of Microsoft software products, including Project, Excel, Powerpoint, Teams and Sharepoint.
  • Experience supporting multiple locations.
  • Ability to analyze and troubleshoot technical and computer-related issues.
  • Ability to maintain structured documentation and accurate records.
  • Familiarity with basic procurement and accounting concepts.
  • Ability to manage multiple assignments at once, multi-task across projects, and effectively prioritize each.

Supervisory Responsibility

  • Employees in this role are regularly required to climb, sit, stand, bend, kneel, and frequently lift to 25 pounds.
  • Employee may be required to drive a vehicle while on Company business, maintain a good driving record and be insurable under Company vehicle insurance.
