Job Title: Technology Program Manager Consultant - ONSITE - New York City - 6 months


Job Summary:

  • Next Generation Inc. is seeking a Technology Program Manager Consultant to support a large-scale public sector transportation client within its Enterprise Strategy & Architecture (ESA) division.
  • This will be a 6 month+ contract, that will be an ONSITE role, in New York City.
  • This role is critical in driving the execution and delivery of complex, cross-domain technology initiatives aligned with enterprise-wide strategic objectives. The ideal candidate will bring a blend of technical depth, program governance expertise, and executive communication skills, operating effectively within a highly matrixed environment.
  • The consultant will partner closely with Enterprise Architecture, Cloud, Data & AI, Platform, Network, and Application teams, while interfacing with senior leadership to ensure alignment between technology investments and business priorities.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Partner with senior leadership including CTO, Deputy CTO offices, Directors, and cross-functional stakeholders
  • Lead execution of large-scale, enterprise technology programs across multiple domains
  • Develop and maintain executive dashboards (Power BI), scorecards, and KPI frameworks for leadership visibility
  • Synthesize complex program data into executive summaries and actionable insights
  • Build and deliver executive-level presentations covering program status, risks, financials, and strategic impact
  • Track and report on KPIs, project health, and resource allocation
  • Conduct capacity planning and resource forecasting
  • Ensure alignment with enterprise architecture standards and IT governance frameworks
  • Identify system inefficiencies and drive process improvement and reengineering initiatives
  • Collaborate across Enterprise Architecture, Infrastructure, Cybersecurity, Product, and Operations teams
  • Support development of the Enterprise Strategy & Architecture technology roadmap
  • Proactively identify, assess, and mitigate program risks
  • Drive continuous improvement and innovation across technology programs
  • Manage workload prioritization and resource supply/demand planning
  • Escalate risks and issues to appropriate leadership channels

Required Qualifications:

  • PMP Certification - Required
  • Agile Certification - Required
  • Certified Scrum Master (CSM) - Required
  • Proven experience managing enterprise-level, cross-domain technology programs
