Job Summary

The Technology Program Manager Sr manages the project management life cycle and software development life cycle for the implementation of complex, large-scale, strategic IT and enterprise initiatives. Responsible for the planning, analysis, execution, and delivery of technical programs supporting Flagstar's key business initiatives. Responsible for developing and implementing systems that track and report progress of large scale programs, identifies intersections of programs and potential resource constraints for programs. Responsible for communicating status, challenges, and solutions to business leaders in the execution of large scale initiatives. Responsible for collection, development, analysis, and governance of technology process documentation and metrics for internal and external audit and regulatory purposes.

Job Responsibilities:

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Designs and implements policies, system monitors, and controls to ensure and operationalize the successful management and reporting of enterprise programs and metrics.
  • Develops, implements, and maintains standards and processes for the collection and reporting of team financials and metrics.
  • Collects, develops, analyzes, and governs technology process documentation and metrics for internal and external audit and regulatory purposes.
  • Provides visibility into delivery performance of department initiatives, SLAs, and other program metrics.
  • Coordinates and facilitates regular team and leadership meetings, strategy sessions, and training.
  • Uses independent judgement and discretion to make decisions.
  • Analyzes and resolves problems.
  • May be responsible for talent management functions including: employment, performance evaluations, staff development/training, disciplinary actions, succession planning and ensuring all staff comply with compliance requirements.

ADDITIONAL ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Performs special projects, and additional duties and responsibilities as required.
  • Consistently adheres to regulatory and compliance policies and standards linked to the job as listed and complete required compliance trainings. Accountable to maintain compliance with applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Required Qualifications:

  • Education level required: Undergraduate Degree (4 years or equivalent) in Computer Science, Business or other related field.
  • Minimum experience required: 10 years of experience in IT project management
  • 7 years of experience leading professionals and professional teams in the execution of multiple large projects

Preferred Qualifications:

  • PMP.
  • PMI member in good standing.
  • Clarity, ITIL Foundations certified.
