What We're Looking For:
The Senior Manager, Technical Program Manager will lead strategic, cross-functional initiatives to standardize software shared services across our diverse business units.
In this role, you will drive the execution of foundational technical programs-such as unified identity, API strategy, and cloud operations-to reduce complexity, increase operational efficiency, and deliver a seamless, unified experience for our customers.
This role requires a minimum of 3-days per week in our Holtsville, NY (Long Island) office, 2 days remote (US).
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Functional Leadership of Program management teams with direct supervision of one or more direct reports. Independently drive team growth and development plans and supports individual's execution & development activities such as training, mentorships, and guiding growth opportunities.
  • Lead cross-functional programs to standardize software and improve the end-to-end customer experience across a multi-product portfolio.
  • Direct strategic shared services programs-such as unified identity/login, licensing, API strategy, and cloud operations-ensuring alignment with overarching business goals.
  • Collaborate with and influence leaders across multiple business units to gain buy-in and drive the adoption of common standards and platforms.
  • Develop and manage strategic program roadmaps focused on reducing customer fragmentation, consolidating platforms, and increasing internal operational efficiency. Uses and makes improvement recommendations to established tools, approaches/methodologies, and templates to guide and document the plan and communicate it to the team.
  • Responsible for all aspects of program planning and execution fully autonomously
  • Organizes cross-functional activities, ensuring program completion, i.e., product on schedule and within budget constraints. Owns regular meeting coordination, facilitation, and documentation of progress.
  • Uses and makes improvement recommendations to established tools, approaches/methodologies, and templates to guide and document the plan and communicate it to the team.
  • Responsible for all aspects of program planning and execution fully autonomously
  • Organizes cross-functional activities, ensuring program completion, i.e., product on schedule and within budget constraints. Owns regular meeting coordination, facilitation, and documentation of progress.
  • Balances scope, schedule, and budget considerations to ensure program and business objectives are achieved.
  • Assumes self and team accountability for program success. Executes and enables strategic cross-functional improvements. Assumes self and indirect project team's accountability for program success against the objectives.
  • Prepare and influentially present status updates and other deliverables to senior-level audiences
  • Independently engages additional resources as needed to address obstacles/delays. Proactively provides recommendations for issue resolution. Adjusts the plan as delays/obstacles are experienced
  • Demonstrates advanced knowledge of all PM techniques. Utilizes PM tools & techniques in scheduling & staffing plans with an understanding of task duration and dependencies.
  • Develops comprehensive risk management plans.
  • Demonstrates advanced knowledge of development processes and product launch scope and activities
  • Demonstrates ability to navigate complex problems and overcome ambiguity with limited manager oversight
  • Identify, recommend, and implement process improvements

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field, MS preferred
  • Minimum 12+ years' experience, plus 3 years minimum experience in a people leader role

Key Skills and Competencies:
  • Effective in presenting and communicating (verbal and written), and facilitating to peers, direct reports, and executive audiences
  • Comfortable and experienced in delegating and requesting follow-up
  • Proven experience managing complex, large-scale software programs in a multi-product or multi-business unit environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead organizational change, build consensus among senior leaders, and influence technical and business teams without direct authority.
  • A strong understanding of the following modern software concepts is required:
    • Identity Management: Familiarity with modern authentication patterns, including Single Sign-On, OAuth, and related identity technologies.
    • API Strategy: Deep knowledge of API-first design principles, API lifecycle management, and strategies to build and scale robust developer tools and platforms.
    • Cloud Operations: Understanding of shared cloud platforms, DevOps principles, and strategies for creating operational efficiencies at scale.
    • Software Licensing Models: Experience with various software monetization and licensing strategies (e.g., subscription, consumption-based, perpetual.
  • Ability to connect technical program goals to business outcomes, such as improved customer satisfaction, operational efficiency, and new revenue opportunities.
  • Experience creating, implementing, and governing technical standards across a matrixed organization.
  • Identify, recommend, and implement process improvements
  • Familiar with and has used AI tools in an enterprise setting, and demonstrates integrating workflows with AI tools to create efficiencies
  • Proficient in MS Office or similar
