Job description

AMERICAN SYSTEMS is an employee-owned federal government contractor supporting national priority programs through our strategic solutions in the areas of Information Technology, Test & Evaluation, Program Mission Support, Engineering & Analysis, and Training. Responsibilities As a Project Coordinator you will have the opportunity to do the following: * Provide coordination for Enterprise Architecture Review Board (EARB) meetings with C-level leadership (CTO, DCIO, CIO), Enterprise Architects, and Engineers at the Defense Security Cooperation Agency (DSCA).
* Develop artifacts including templates, meeting minutes, roadmaps, schedules used for decision making with DSCA technical leadership.
* Determine areas for improvement and efficiencies in the technical execution of the DSCA IT Program.
* Present analysis and recommendations to the DSCA Chief Technical Office (CTO) and Chief Information Officer (CIO)
* Assist in the coordination of technical projects for the DSCA customer.
* Assist in the planning, communication, and reporting of each project to improve synergy between the DSCA Technical Staff and DSCA Govt leadership.
* Attend in-person and teleconference meetings, provide meeting support documentation when applicable as well as provide weekly and ad-hoc status reports.
* Understand highly complex technical terminology and be able to translate into non-technical project status in terms of cost, performance, and schedule.
* He/she must have the ability to blend creativity, problem solving, and technical skills to establish and maintain a high level of customer trust and confidence.
* Provide coordination for Enterprise Architecture Review Board (EARB) meetings with C-level leadership (CTO, DCIO, CIO), Enterprise Architects, and Engineers at the Defense Security Cooperation Agency (DSCA). Qualifications * 5+ Years in a project management/program management roles reporting directly to a Department of Defense (DoD) client
* Bachelors Degree in Management, Business Information Systems, Computer Science or related technical degree is desired
* Experience supporting high level federal government customers
* Highly proficient oral and written communication with Technical and Management staff required
* Highly proficient in Microsoft Project, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams
* Proficient with SharePoint, Jira, Confluence.
* PMP Certification Highly Desired
