Job description

Sales Applications Product Manager
(Reports to Director of Customer Experience)

Role Purpose

The Business Application & Process Product Manager is responsible for operationalizing how we sell and serve customers through systems, workflows, and data. This role translates sales processes, customer experience requirements, and business priorities into scalable applications and integrated workflows that drive productivity and measurable business outcomes. It serves as the primary bridge between business stakeholders and IT, with accountability for product direction, delivery, and adoption. Areas of responsibilities include Business Application Ownership, Process Translation & Workflow Design, Stakeholder Engagement & Requirements, Delivery & Technical Collaboration, and Adoption & Value Realization. This role does not define sales strategy, sales processes, or customer experience, but partners closely with those who do to ensure effective execution through tools and systems.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Own and continuously improve core sales and customer systems (e.g., CRM, e-commerce) and the associated workflows that support how the business sells and serves customers

  • Define and manage the application vision, roadmap, and priorities, including maintaining a clear and prioritized backlog of work

  • Translate sales processes, customer experience requirements, and business needs into scalable system workflows and integrated solutions

  • Identify gaps, inefficiencies, and friction across systems, workflows, and user experience, and lead improvements to drive consistency and scalability

  • Partner cross-functionally (Sales, Enablement, Customer Experience, Marketing, Operations, Finance, IT) to gather requirements, align priorities, and ensure solutions meet business needs 

  • Serve as the primary business interface for application initiatives, translating requirements into clear specifications and guiding decision-making that includes user feedback 

  • Collaborate with IT and other partners to deliver solutions, coordinate cross-functional execution, and ensure alignment from design through implementation 

  • Drive adoption of systems and workflows in partnership with Sales Enablement and business leaders, ensuring usability and minimizing user friction 

  • Monitor adoption, performance, and business impact, and continuously refine systems, workflows, and priorities based on insights and feedback 

Key Interfaces 

  • Sales Enablement Manager - defines process; this role operationalizes it 

  • Customer Experience Director - defines experience; this role enables it 

  • IT / Product Owner (IT) - builds systems; this role defines requirements and priorities 

  • Sales Leaders and Sellers - primary users and feedback source

  • 5 years in business application product management, sales operations, or business applications 
  • Experience with CRM, ERP, and workflow tools 
  • Strong cross-functional leadership and prioritization skills 
  • Demonstrated success translating business needs into technical solutions 
  • Strong product management discipline (roadmap, backlog, delivery) 
  • Strong business acumen and communication skills 
  • Experience with Agile delivery Preferred 
  • B2B or industrial/manufacturing experience 
  • Implementing process improvement through methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma, etc. 
  • Experience with AI-enabled tools and automation

Compensation: This role is eligible for our annual merit-increase program, and we are targeting a salary range of $108,500-$162,700 based on your level of skills, qualifications and experience. You will also be eligible for our Annual Incentive Program, which offers a cash bonus targeting 15% of base pay. Potential plan funding may range from zero to two times that target.

Benefits: When you join our team, you and your dependents will be offered coverage under our comprehensive employee benefits plan, which includes medical, dental, vision, short and long-term disability, and life insurance. We offer a pre-tax Health Savings Account option which includes a company contribution. Other benefit options are also available such as voluntary Long-Term Care and Employee Assistance Programs. Retirement: Employees are able to enroll in our company's 401k plan, which includes a paid company match in addition to our annual contribution equal to 5% of your base salary.

Paid Time Off or Vacation: We provide eligible employees who are scheduled to work 25 hours or more per week with 3-weeks of paid vacation to use during your first year of employment. In addition, after being employed for six months, eligible employees begin to accrue vacation for future use. We also recognize eleven paid holidays per year, providing a total of 88 holiday hours and paid parental leave for all full-time employees.
