The successful candidate combines strong technical expertise and relevant industry insights with leadership, communication, and execution skills. They will be responsible for driving integration initiatives across the organization, modernizing integration capabilities, and helping establish AI-enabled development and automation practices.

This is a hands-on leadership role operating at the intersection of applications, data, and external connectivity.

Key Responsibilities

  • Establish scalable patterns across APIs, event-driven systems, and data pipelines.
  • Standardize tools, frameworks, security controls, and integration best practices.
  • Evaluate emerging technologies including AI and recommend improvements to the firm's integration ecosystem.

Delivery & Execution

  • Lead the design and delivery of complex integrations across internal systems and external partners.
  • Oversee onboarding of external data providers, vendors, and service partners.
  • Ensure integration solutions are secure, reliable, scalable, and supportable.
  • Provide technical leadership across the full solution lifecycle from design through production support.
  • Provide timely production support of ETL and integration deliverables.
  • Lead technical delivery across a portfolio of integration initiatives.
  • Mentor and guide developers and integration specialists while promoting engineering best practices.

Data & Platform Enablement

  • Enable seamless integration with the firm's central data platform.
  • Support governed, high-quality data sharing across the organization.
  • Promote reusable integration services, APIs, and data capabilities.
  • Drive adoption of modern cloud-based integration services and data movement patterns.

Innovation & Modernization

  • Lead the evaluation and adoption of modern technologies, including AI-assisted development, automation, within the firm's integration and data ecosystem.
  • Help define the future direction of integration capabilities, platforms, and ways of working.
  • Promote a culture of continuous improvement and technology adoption.
  • Champion modern engineering practices including AI-assisted development, automation, cloud-native integration patterns, and continuous improvement.
  • Demonstrate curiosity and innovation by evaluating emerging technologies and identifying opportunities to modernize integration capabilities and improve delivery efficiency.

Leadership & Stakeholder Management

  • Act as integration lead across business and technology teams.
  • Serve as point of contact for integration-related discussions with vendors and external partners.
  • Lead architecture and solution design discussions across projects and platforms.
  • Communicate technical concepts, trade-offs, risks, and recommendations to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Build strong partnerships across business and technology teams to drive successful outcomes.
  • Mentor team members and contribute to the growth and maturity of the firm's integration capability.

Qualifications

Required
