Help us transform our workforce of the future, today.

We are seeking a Senior Engineering Manager to join Zions Bancorporation. In this role, you will lead and manage the engineering team, overseeing the design, development, and implementation of critical business initiatives and technologies. • Stay current with industry best practices and provide expert insights on engineering standards.
  • Evaluate outcomes, identify problems, and recommend corrective actions to maintain organizational effectiveness.
  • Oversee full-cycle team management, including hiring, performance management, and staff development.

Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of experience within engineering disciplines or a directly related field, with professional experience in at least one primary language, framework, or infrastructure domain.
  • Supervisory or management experience required, featuring a proven track record of building and scaling a strong engineering culture.
  • Demonstrated experience in building strong relationships with the business and successfully executing a defined strategic plan.
  • Proven hands-on experience and ability to utilize Automation and AI to improve engineering processes and build innovative solutions.
  • Experience in the banking sector, particularly in Treasury or payments, is a strong plus.
  • In-depth knowledge of engineering, including architectural concepts and system design.
  • Strong understanding across the DevOps lifecycle, with expertise in at least one area, including exposure to automation through CI/CD pipelines.
  • In depth project management, time management, and organizational skills.
  • Proven ability to identify, analyze, and solve complex problems.
