Job description


Project Coordinator
In this role, you’ll support ground operations by managing core parts of our mapping program, including the device and driver lifecycle, logistics, and communications.
As a Project Coordinator, you’ll blend technical know how with people skills. You’ll ensure devices are deployed and maintained smoothly, troubleshoot issues hands on, and streamline processes to keep operations running efficiently. You’ll also be a key point of contact for drivers, providing clear communication and reliable support.
We’re looking for someone who’s detail oriented, resourceful, and ready to take ownership in a fast paced environment. The role includes the occasional driving around the Inland Empire and requires the ability to lift up to 25 lbs.
Key Responsibilities:
Device Preparation and Deployment
  • Prepare and configure devices for deployment, including software setup, kitting, and serialization
  • Ensure device readiness and sufficient inventory to support market launches
Driver Communication and Support
  • Manage communication with drivers throughout the device lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, engagement, and returns
  • Provide direct support for device related issues, such as installation, login, and usage questions
  • Develop and implement strategies to re-engage inactive drivers and recover devices
Inventory and Logistics Management
  • Maintain accurate tracking of device inventory across multiple locations and with drivers
  • Coordinate shipping, returns, and recovery processes, ensuring timely reconciliation of device statuses
  • Pick up and drop off packages at a warehouse in Ontario, California.
Operational Excellence and Reporting
  • Collect and analyze data to track performance and inform decision making
  • Identify and recommend process improvements and system enhancements to increase efficiency and effectiveness
Experience and Skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast paced environment with a "roll up your sleeves" attitude
  • Strong technical comfort with Android operating systems
  • Proven experience in operations, logistics, or project management, ideally within a hardware or device centric program
  • Proficiency in managing inventory, including physical tracking, digital record keeping, and coordinating shipments
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly and effectively with diverse stakeholders, including drivers and internal teams
  • Familiarity with operational tools such as Jira
  • Strong problem solving skills, with an ability to identify root causes and propose effective solutions for operational challenge
  • Comfortable with new technologies and adaptable to evolving systems and processes
  • Valid driver’s license, access to a reliable car, and willingness to drive as part of the role
  • Spanish language skills a plus
Compensation: $35 - $31.07 per hour
