Job description

TRG is hiring General Labor/ restoration tech associates to join our client based in Edmonton , AB who is a leading restoration company certified in emergency restoration, reconstruction, and remodeling. This position is primarily responsible for responding to emergencies and circumstances involving property damage while ensuring safe and effective operations.
Location: Edmonton , AB
Shift: Day Shift
Schedule: 8:00 am- 4:30 pm, must be able to work on weekends as required
Payrate: $21/hr
Responsibilities:
Work safely in residential and commercial properties that have been damaged by fire, water, storm, etc.
Survey damage within the property
Evaluate and record damage to all items within the property
Cleaning process for both contents and structural damage
Clear and professional communication with the management team
Construction experience a plus. Ability to use hand tools and hand power tools. Ie, power drill, drywall knife, crowbar etc.
May be required to do basic demolition.
Boxing and moving customer contents
Attention to detail
Able to lift 50 lbs
Exceptional communication skill (oral and written)
Technically adept with smart phone and tablet technology
Ability to operate within hazardous environments with care and safety
Must be able to pass a basic background check.
PPE Required, safety boots, and hard hat. Safety gloves, safety vest, Safety glassed are a bonus. (I can get FOS to provide this PPE)
Requirements and Experience:
· High School Diploma required.
· Ability to carry up to 50lbs.
· Ability to frequently standing, bending, and walking.
