This full-time, in-person position is scheduled from 7:00 am to 3:30 pm, or until the completion of daily assignments, with overtime available as needed. The role offers consistent hours and the assurance of ongoing work throughout the year.
WHAT'S YOUR DAY LIKE?
As an Insulation Tech Assistant, you will contribute directly to improving the energy efficiency and comfort of homes throughout Connecticut. Your day will involve installing fiber-glass batt insulation, blown-in cellulose, or blown-in fiber-glass insulation. You will also support air sealing initiatives, install weather stripping, and perform other home efficiency upgrades under the HES program. Each assignment will require problem-solving and sound judgment, whether you are working independently or alongside a team. The role entails carrying materials, ascending ladders, and working in confined areas such as attics and crawl spaces, occasionally in challenging temperature conditions. Throughout your workday, you will prioritize quality, maintain a professional demeanor in client interactions, and demonstrate reliability and craftsmanship.
