Job description

American Health Imaging is looking for an experienced Technologist Assistant (Medical Assistant/Phlebotomy). The Technologist Assistant will be responsible for helping all Technologists in the center in areas that allow the Technologist to maintain an on-time schedule and run the diagnostic imaging scanning area in an orderly fashion.
This is a full-time position working Monday-Friday 9:00am-5:00pm located in Sandy Springs, Georgia.
Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Maintaining excellent patient care
  • Dressing patients and obtaining medical history
  • Starting IVs
  • Assisting MRI/CT with the patient flow
  • Helping sterilizes equipment and rooms

Education and Experience:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • EMT Intermediate or higher
  • Radiology Technology student or 12 months previous experience in diagnostic radiology or other imaging modality nice to have
  • Previous experience starting IV's
  • Knowledge of medical terminology desired
