Position Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Industrial Maintenance Technician Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for troubleshooting, installing, and maintaining automated industrial equipment as well as performing building maintenance and repairs. You will play a critical role in ensuring our equipment operates efficiently and safely, contributing to our strong preventative maintenance program.
Key Responsibilities
  • Troubleshooting Equipment: Identify and resolve issues with automated industrial equipment to minimize downtime.
  • Installation and Maintenance: Install new equipment and perform regular maintenance and repairs to keep machinery in optimal working condition.
  • Building Maintenance: Conduct repairs and maintenance on building structures and systems.
  • Preventative Maintenance: Implement and support a strong preventative maintenance program to prolong the life of equipment.
  • Safety Compliance: Assist in addressing concerns related to OSHA regulations, reduction of utilities, and waste management.
  • Work Order Management: Complete and manage work order assignments in a timely manner.
  • Repair and Fabrication: Use industrial maintenance knowledge to repair, modify, or fabricate parts for equipment as needed.
  • Equipment Analysis: Analyze equipment to determine necessary repairs and adjustments.
  • Blueprint Interpretation: Ability to read and analyze blueprints, drawings, and schematics of automated industrial equipment.
  • Utility Installation: Install utility lines for steam, water, condensate, air, gas, etc., including soldering, pipe threading, and electrical conduit work.
  • Preventative Maintenance Activities: Perform regular preventative maintenance on all equipment to ensure optimal functionality.
  • Safety Training: Complete all required safety training to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
  • Data Recording: Utilize a maintenance site to accurately record data and completed work activities.
  • PPE Compliance: Adhere to proper PPE guidelines in accordance with company policies.
  • Clean Work Environment: Maintain a clean and orderly work area to promote safety and efficiency.
  • Documentation: Record all required work documentation, including work orders, time sheets, and request forms, in a timely manner.
  • Additional Duties: Perform various other job duties as may be assigned.
