Responsibilities
- This role operates across product strategy and execution, partnering with Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and Technology leaders to modernize manufacturing capabilities and deliver measurable business outcomes across Williams-Sonoma's manufacturing network.
- Own the Manufacturing product strategy, roadmap, and investment priorities, identifying opportunities through customer insights, operational data, and hypothesis-driven product discovery focused on measurable business outcomes.
- Monitor emerging manufacturing, supply chain, ERP, AI, and digital manufacturing trends, evaluating new technologies and industry practices that can improve Williams-Sonoma's competitive advantage.
- Define product success metrics and measurement plans tied to manufacturing efficiency, production throughput, inventory accuracy, schedule adherence, quality, operational productivity, adoption, and business value realization. Continuously measure outcomes to guide product investment decisions and optimization.
- Lead product discovery, business process analysis, and solution definition for manufacturing capabilities, translating business needs into product strategy, roadmaps, epics, features, user stories, acceptance criteria, and prioritized Jira backlogs that enable iterative Agile delivery.

- Serve as the manufacturing product subject matter expert, leading cross-functional exploration, making informed product recommendations, and communicating roadmap priorities, tradeoffs, progress, and outcomes to business partners and senior Technology leadership.
- Lead organizational readiness and product adoption activities, including stakeholder alignment, business process design, SOP documentation, training, UAT, hyper-care, and adoption measurement.
- Ensure manufacturing solutions meet governance, security, audit, licensing, and compliance requirements while partnering with Internal Audit and Technology teams to establish appropriate operational controls.
Criteria
- 10 years of Product Management or techno-functional experience supporting Manufacturing, Supply Chain, ERP, or related enterprise technology platforms.
- Experience with discrete manufacturing, configurable products, production planning, bills of material, routings, work centers, capacity planning, quality management, and manufacturing execution preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to influence senior business and technology leaders, drive executive alignment, manage competing priorities, and communicate effectively across executive, operational, and technical audiences without direct authority.
- Deep understanding of Microsoft Dynamics AX/Dynamics 365 Manufacturing, Supply Chain Management, Production Control, Inventory Management, Procurement, Warehouse Management, and related manufacturing processes.
- Demonstrated experience owning product strategy, roadmaps, and execution for complex enterprise platforms supporting manufacturing or supply chain operations.
- Own the product lifecycle from discovery through adoption, continuously measuring business outcomes and incorporating customer feedback into future roadmap priorities.
- Experience applying AI, generative AI, machine learning, automation, or advanced analytics to improve manufacturing operations, product management practices, or business processes. Demonstrated ability to identify and deliver AI-enabled business capabilities.
- Experience with related supply chain operations, order management, eCommerce and finance / accounting processes.
- Experience leading large-scale business transformation initiatives from product discovery through implementation, including business process redesign, organizational change management, UAT, training, and production adoption.
- Experience with the process of configurable products as they flow from the eCommerce customer's orders through order management (OMS) and to Dynamics 365 for manufacturing and order fulfillment.
- You have a proven ability to understand and discuss technical concepts, manage difficult tradeoffs, and evaluate new ideas with partners across the organization.
- Experience in a large, multi-brand business preferred. Consulting experience is also desirable.
- Experience creating and managing product backlogs, including writing epics, features, user stories, acceptance criteria, and prioritizing work within Jira for Agile software delivery.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills and the ability to lead and influence others.
